Local Government Irish Service Catalogue Now Available with pTools CMS V8!

What is the Irish Service Catalogue?

The Irish Service Catalogue Module is a national platform developed by the Local Government Management Agency to provide a consistent, user-friendly way for the public to discover and access council services in both English and Irish language. By integrating this catalogue into your website, your council can deliver a clearer, more accessible and services unified with other councils’ to provide excellent digital experience for the citizens ensuring services are easy to find, understand, and engage with.

It promotes transparency, improves service discoverability, aligns with local and national digital strategies focused on citizen-first design.

Integration of Irish Service Catalogue with pTools CMS V8

We’re excited to announce that pTools CMS V8 now offers a one-click import using Local Government Irish Service Catalogue Module API and Local Government Multilingual Module API that automatically creates service pages/sub-pages aligning with the same design templates, both in English and Irish language, in couple of minutes!

It is now possible to add all common council's services to your site built on pTools CMS V8, quickly and easily saving development cost and time. It is also possible to have your council’s services and the website’s content uploaded in Irish language – and all this is free of cost!
